Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island

Mackinac Bridge (taken from Mackinaw City), day and night
"Downtown" Mackinac Island
A statue of my main man, Fr. Jacques Marquette
The Michigan governor's summer residence. The governor wasn't here at the time. A shame... she's quite a cutie.
Some old fort or another, from the days when the Canadians were on the attack...
Arch Rock. Taken during my 8 1/2 mile bike ride around the shoreline. Whew!
Governor's residence and Fort Mackinac from a distance.
The Grand Hotel. Holdover from the old days when the Island was a rich folk's haven. Now known as the setting for Somewhere in Time, maybe the only time travel movie I've ever hated. Don't even get me started on how much ass Time After Time kicks compared to this crapfest.
Horses and carriages are everywhere, so you've got to be careful where you're walking. Contender for world's worst job? Riding around Mackinac on a bike, with a shovel to scoop up fresh road apples.

Near the waterline...
If I may say so, a nearly perfect sunset shot of the big bridge, taken from the Mackinac Ferry...

Taken while driving across the bridge

I persist in getting shots of myself during my trips...
